I knew Jay in high school (Central High School of Philadelphia, Class 236), before he went to West Point. Very sad to learn here of his passing 15 years ago. I had a great deal of respect for Jay, as he was always a thoughtful, honest person. My condolences to his family and friends. Last time I saw him was at a party at Penn, when he was back in Philadelphia for a days over winter break, during his first or second year at WP.
