I want to echo the comments of John Proulx. I had the privilege of going to the same high school on Long Island with Bob then really getting to know Bob and Diana suring Bob's last 3 years at West Point. We then served together at West Point as instructors and at CGSC. Bob was the perfect blend of excellent Army officer (BZ to Major) and excellent father, uncle, husband and friend. He always found the humor in a situation and was able to turn the worst into the best. I will never forget the terrible phone call on the day of the accident. He is sorely missed!!! |
