Be Thou At Peace

| I've been searching for the right words that might help provide some comfort in this time of unfathomable grief and none seem to be good enough. While I didn't personally know Loddy, my son is a "brother" of his, so I saw Loddy play many rugby matches and watched him interact with the guys on the team. There was a connection between all of those young men that was uncommon and amazingly tight. I know how much he was respected and loved as a leader, teammate, and friend. His life was not wasted...he made an impact on the lives of others in a positive way and he will live on in each one of their hearts and souls because he was a such a big part of what they are all about. Please know that all of those grieving for this loss are in my prayers. |
