Be Thou At Peace
Posted by Paula and Chip Hubbard on October 4, 2007:
Loddy was a great friend to our son, Matthew, and our family grieves at the loss of such a wonderful young man. He and Matt were in G-4 together, and we heard stories of Loddy long before we actually met him. If we happened to be at West Point during a Rugby game, we would stroll over to yell for the team, and especially for Loddy. Matthew and some of the other guppies enjoyed several road trips to out of town games to act as Loddy's personal cheering section, not to mention their antics together at West Point. We actually met Loddy last fall in the Firstie Club and will always remember his wonderful smile and his thoughtfulness in taking the time to sit and visit for a while. I know that G-4 is devastated by his loss, as is the Rugby team and all those at West Point who knew him and called him their friend. Please know that we will be thinking of his family and multitude of friends and will be keeping all of you in our prayers during this sad and difficult time.
