Be Thou At Peace

Posted by Pete Kusek on December 21, 2007:

I found the following euology from Pauls daughter, Sherry, in the Washington Post and thought it touching and very appropriate.

"What can I say about my Dad? He was a soldier who faced things bravely,
he was a teacher who patiently broadened minds, he was a golf fanatic who
worshipped Fred Funk, and most importantly he was a father, husband and
proud grandpa. My Dad could be completely serious, or completely goofy and
we all loved him either way. There are so many things that I am going to
miss, but I have wonderful memories to hang on to. He gave me a wonderful
childhood, and prepared me well for my adulthood. He did a great job at
being my Dad and I am proud and honored to have had him in my life. Love ya
Papa-San.
