| Originally Romanian, Lee arrived at West Point with an unusually intense gung-ho attitude that made some people nervous - including me at first - until we were assigned as roommates in A-4. He turned out to be one of the best roommates I ever had in my 4 years at the Academy or anywhere. Highly considerate of others, and a true gentleman, Lee was an excellent person and became a good friend. I was stunned to hear of his loss at flight training, while I was stationed in Europe. The Army lost a good man and America a strong patriot. His parents should always be proud of their son. |
