LTC Detlie was one of finest leaders of men I ever came in contact with during my time in the service. He was on of the most inspiring officers and really cared about the men. My career in the service is directly and greatly influenced by LTC Detlie. He was my professor of military history at Pennsylvania Military College and advisor to the Ranger Company. A Soldier's Soldier. My prayers are with him and his family. |
