Be Thou At Peace

Posted by John Stevens on April 7, 2009:

To Shirley -

My wife, Judy, and I just arrived home after driving through Kentucky on our way home to Glenview. While on the road, we passed near to Hopkinsville, and I reflected on years past and good times with you and Karl. I made it a point when I returned to do a Google search to see where you are now located. Needless to say, I was shocked to find an obit for Karl.

My rememberance of Karl is strongest for his engaging and energetic personality, as well as his honesty and strong work ethic. We had a lot of laughs and good times in those years at Mid Continent. I hope that you and he had a happy life and that he was able to see your girls grow into beautiful young ladies.

If you get this message, please let me know how you are doing and whether you ever get up here to "Buckyland".

Best regards, John
