| Emmett was a good man. He was my squad leader at Camp Buckner, and showed the right balance of humor, flexibility, and task-orientation. He knew how to go along with a joke better than most folks I know, and it was a credit to him that he could. Emmett probably never realized how much I liked and believed in him. I am proud to have called him my friend and classmate. |
