Bill hailed from Monroe,La. He had that calm Louisana demeanor. Duty, honor, country were deeply imbedded in Bill. As his roommate, I called him 'Wafe'. Solid in academics and tough on the handball courts, Willie's driving spirit and determination separated him from others. One of the best looking cadets in our class. I'm proud to have known 'Wafe'. He will live forever with me. Never, never to be forgotten. CNT'58 |
