Dear Lorraine, Please accept these inadequate but sincere words of sympathy from a friend of Rich - and a fellow member of the Plebe football team where Rich worked hard and was able to forget for a few moments the trials and tribulations of being a cadet. Rich was beloved by many of us for his tremendous sense of humor and his willingness to help any fellow cadet. While he (like most of us) was NOT a 'spoony' cadet, he was fun-loving and could be counted on for a ready smile, a positive attitude, and sincere friendship. He will be sorely missed by those of us who were lucky to have had him as a classmate and friend. |
