Be Thou At Peace

| Bill was a gentle giant. I remember visiting him in the cadet ward Yearling year. Bill was hospitalized with mononucleosis. He was weak as all get out, but his spirit was strong. It was painful to see this strapping football player laid low by this condition. However, he was gracious and appreciative of his visitors. Of course, he bounced back. When I would see him years later, at reunions and other times, Bill would always say thanks for the support shown way back then. He was such a class act. He inspired so many by the way he lived his life. Well done! Be thou at peace! |
