Be Thou At Peace

| Bill was one of my Plebe Roommates. While my memory is fading from old age, I will always have memories (although now becoming imperfect) of Plebe adventures in M-2. I recall sitting on Bill's shoulders while he did push ups. I do not recall how many he could do, but it was a considerable number. Another one was where we harassed our Yearlings across the hall. Our door to the hall had a fairly high crack under it as did the door of Yearlings Ed Shillo and Dwayne Lee. On this occasion, a large, flat, flying, beetle zoomed into our room through the window. We put the broom to it, sliding it across the floor, under our door, across the hall, and under their door. It just happened that Ed Shillo was sitting cross legged on the floor shining his shoes. Up his short's leg it went, causing no end of excitement for Bill and I that evening. Once upon a time. :) |
