Be Thou At Peace

An image that has brought me peace in these last 2 years...I view myself, my Mom, and my family on a shoreline watching the boat that my Dad is on sail away and drift over the horizon. As he goes, we can't help but think, "He's leaving...". But out of view across the water is another shoreline. On that shoreline stands my grandfather and grandmother, many of my Dad's friends and classmates, and of course the Lord. And they are saying, "He's coming !!!". |
