Be Thou At Peace

Posted by Jerry L.Crosby of Arizona, Assoc. Member, WPAOG on June 8, 2014:

Our Brother John F. Kennedy has completed, his earthly toils. The brittle thread which bound him to Earth has been severed, and the liberated spirit has winged its flight to the unknown world. The silver cord is loosed; the golden bowl is broken; the pitcher is broken at the fountain; and the wheel is broken at the cistern. The dust has returned to the Earth as it was and the spirit has returned to GOD who gave it.
Eccl. Chapter 12.
So Mote It Be.

Well Done John. Be Thou at Peace.

You Raise Me Up

When I am down, and oh, my soul, so weary,
When troubles come and my heart burdened be,
Then I am still and wait here in the silence
Until you come and sit a while with me.

You raise me up so I can stand on mountains.
You raise me up to walk on stormy seas.
I am strong when I am on your shoulders.
You raise me up, to more than I can be.
