Be Thou At Peace

Your beloved Dad and family are in our thoughts and prayers. Your father was an example to the entire community. Through his care of the poor, he served our Lord in "His distressing disguise" (Mother Theresa) with love and joy. He served his brothers and sisters here at Mission Basilica parish proclaiming by word and example the Gospel. So often I would catch him emptying the trunk of his car -- carrying food into the pantry. I often thought to myself, "what an incredible man!". He showed us all what it means to be a follower of Jesus Christ. We were blessed to know him. "Well done my good and faithful servant...enter into the joy of your Master." Matthew 25:21. |
