August 22, 2011 Cynthia and family members, Bob's death came as a complete surprise to all of us who prayerfully followed his survival and rehab from his stroke. When he returned home we felt that the worst was over and his recovery would progress normally. While finishing up the 65th Reunion Booklet I made sure both of you would be pictured throughout the pages, as an example, how fortitude on both your parts would win out. Now it is a sad reminder of how much we thought of Bob and the joy he bought to any occasion. As you look at the Reunion Booklet please consider it as a lasting tribute to a caring classmate who will be sorely missed. Our condolences to all in the Lee family. ~ Jim Carbine '46 |
