Jack Whitener was in my company when we entered WP in 1943. From that day till this, we have been close friends as have our families. As a cadet, as an officer and as a person, a finer man never walked this earth. His friendship over these many years has filled my treasure chest of wonderful friends. My heart goes out to Packie and the family. Grip hands. |
