Be Thou At Peace

Posted by Tim Engel on December 13, 2003:

I had the opportunity to work for/with Zeke on a number of occasions. In the early 80's I worked for Zeke when he ran the KC-10 Program. I worked in the Program Office with Zeke as well as Russ Schleeh (one of Chuck Yeager's buddies and fellow experimental pilots). The KC-10 was a great program and was led by a dynamic, energetic, intelligent man, Zeke Hopkins.
Some years later I worked for Zeke on the T-45A Program. This, too was a great program - it was a small, cohesive team focused on providing a quality training program to the Navy. Zeke's experience and leadership was critical to the program's success which is still in production in St. Louis, MO.
I wish all the best to Zeke's family and friends and consider myself fortunate to have known him.
