I was the third roomate with Lew and Hal Demoya. I played fullback on the team that won the Brigade Championship and made the winning touchdown, unexpectedly. The date was 1945, the Fall of our First Class year. Lew was a great leader at the academy in military matters and was much admired by all in G-1 Company. His many successes after graduation were well deserved. |
