To the Dessert Family: My condolences go out to the Dessert Family. Mr. Dessert was my Physics teacher at Spruce Creek High School, in Port Orange Florida. He was a great teacher and cared about his students. He was a good mentor for me. He wrote me a recommendation letter when I was trying to get into West Point. I managed to keep in touch with him when I was accepted and then when I graduated he sent me a note. He always took the extra time to do the little things. Most of all I will miss his sense of humor.
