Be Thou At Peace

Posted by Jack Cairns on November 13, 2003:

I remember Jack very well from our Cadet days. Mostly from our association on the Boxing Squad. Jack was a very good boxer... very fast moving, skillfull, and a "hard hitter", particularly for a mid weight class boxer. Although I was two weight classes higher, Billy Cavanaugh, our Coach, would occassionally intermix us during practice sessions. So I knew that Jack could move and Jack could hit!

Jack was always friendly. Always had a smile and a greeting. I saw little of him after graduation except at the five year reunions but we always had a lot of boxing days memories to share. He will be missed by his classmates as well as his close family.
