| I met Colonel Bugh at Bloomsburg State College, September 1974 (as he was extending Bucknell's ROTC program to our campus. This was one of the very first years that women were added to Army ROTC nationally. He was charismatic, but also a pleasure to sit and talk with. And he took ROTC seriously. As I write, I'm looking at a photo of him rappelling, as if to say If I can do it at my age, so can you decades younger. He was missed as soon as he started moving towards retirement. |
