I will always remember LTC Jungerheld as I knew him in February of 1965. He was my Battalion Commander while I was going through Basic Combat Training in Company A, 1st Battalion, 5th Training Brigade. I remember LTC Jungerheld as a model soldier and officer. He inspired me to make a career of the U.S. Army, and for that I will always be grateful. RIP, Colonel. |
