I just Googled to find out what happened to Colonel (as he was when I knew him) Boudinot and it seemed kind of sad that no one had left a eulogy so I have decided to leave a very brief one. I was his driver for a year or maybe longer back in the 60's when he was Chief of Staff for Fort Carson and the Fifth Infantry Division. I liked him a great deal, and Mrs. Boudinot was a super lady. Long hours but rewarding. And he paid me the ultimate compliment by trying to convince me to go to West Point. There was talk of my going with him when he was sent to Hawaii but I didn't have enough time left in the service.
