| During my assignment to Yokota Air Base, Japan I obtained Colonel William H. Mason's silver MIA/POW Bracelet. I understand there may have been more than one bracelet make for each MIA/POW but I have had and wore Colonel Mason's for many years. After my retirement from the US Air Force in 1998 I started wearing Colonel Mason's bracelet on POW/MIA events. This coming Monday the 12 Sep 11 we are honoring all POW/MIA's here at Tinker Air Force Base, Oklahoma. I will wear his bracelet and pray for his family and the memory of Col Mason for giving his life for our freedom. |
