| My mom, Nora Scanlon Reisdorf, was Lee Doyle's godmother. I never forgot the day when he rode me and my brother and sisters back to school after lunch break. We rode in a red convertible. He visited my mom when he was here in Pittsburgh. My mom always talked about her God child that went to West Point. My mom's dad, Michael Scanlon and Lee Doyle's mother,Mae Doyle, were brother and sister.Our car ride in the early 50's was never forgotten! |
