PATRICK KIMBALL OBITUARY
Patrick Kimball of Yarmouth Port, formerly of Brewster, died September 20, 2018. He was 90.

He was preceded in death by Suzanne, his wife of 53 years, who died in 2002.

He is survived by his second wife.

Mr. Kimball attended Northwestern University and the United States Military Academy at West Point, NY, graduating in 1949.

He served in the 14th Armored Calvary in Germany and commanded a troop of the 3rd Armored Calvary in the USA.

He obtained a Master of Industrial Engineering from New York University and worked as an industrial engineer and management consultant for Alcoa, General Electric, Arthur Young, The New York Times, and Coca-Cola of New York.

In 1973, he was appointed Professor of Management at Pace University in Pleasantville, NY, retiring in 1993. He was the founder and first chairman of the Management Department.

Prior to moving to Cape Cod, the Kimballs resided in Mahopac NY.

In Brewster, he was active in the Church of the Holy Spirit in Orleans, the Brewster Historical Society, The Compassionate Friends and the Orleans Yacht Club.

In Yarmouth, he was active at St. Davids Episcopal Church. Mr. Kimball was an avid hiker and biker.

He was the author of Long Walks on Cape Cod, the founder of the Cape Cod Trails Conference and one-time Vice Chairman of the Brewster Bikeways Committee.

He is survived by three children, seven grandchildren and 3 great-grand children. His youngest daughter, Amy, died in 1995.

A memorial service will be held at St. Davids Episcopal Church in South Yarmouth on October 13 at 3:00pm.
