| I knew Chuck Spettel after he had retired from the Army and was a math teacher at JEB Stuart High School in Fairfax County, Virginia. We taught together for several years. Even though it is now 2006, I had a very vivid dream last night about him--he was such a gentleman, funny, bright, polite--and, out of the blue, 25 years later, I'm surprised at how much I miss him! |
