My grandfather died when I was little. I never had the chance to converse with him intellectually, as much as I wanted. He was a man of the world, and very learned. He had a very healthy thirst for knowledge, and was always "gung ho" to expand his horizons. One of the last things he did was to further travel the world to see places he had not. His last expedition was to be his finest-- a one-way ticket to the great beyond. I know that this was his journey yet. He was a lover of the world, and of knowledge. He was a friend, father, grandfather and brother... He will always be greatly missed |
