Be Thou At Peace

| Dan was a true friend and a respected leader. He had dark hair and dark eyes and soon earned the nick name of "Black Dan", a title that Plebes would describe as "well-earned". We spent four years together in the same Company. Unfortunately our paths seldom crossed during our time in the Air Force. However in our younger years when we were cadets and junior officers, there were many parties and Dan was always a good participant. Dan's strongest strength was his impeccable integrity. He was also noted for being a good husband and father. He served the Air Force well. I am saddened that he has left us and extend my deepest sympathy and condolences to Val and their children. He will be missed by us all. |
