| In 1957 I served as a driver for then company commander Co.B Capt. Maihafer. I remember talking with him about Wall St. as he was an investor and my father was a partner in a Wall St. firm. A period 20+ years elapsed before we met up again and had an enjoyable lunch in Nashville. We had one thing in common in that we both served under Mark Clark's son-in-law in the infamous 371 AIB. My wife's grandfather and Mark Clark both served on the board of American Express but that's another story! |
