Linda Collins Williamson passed away May 21, 2009 after a courageous battle with cancer. Having basked in the love of two men, Harry Collins, deceased, and Dan Williamson, she danced her way through life. Linda always did for others no matter what was asked. She profoundly loved people and was an inspiration to the lives she touched. She was a willing volunteer. She adored mentoring inner city youth and being a part of the Evensong choir at All Saints Episcopal Church. Linda was everyone's champion. Linda's devotion and attention to her friends made each of them feel so very special. She was the eternal optimist and shared a bright and joyous outlook with others. Perhaps Linda best expressed herself as an artist. She was a phenomenal dancer, an accomplished artist, a great cook, generous hostess and a dedicated patron of the arts. She cherished the spirituality that she experienced from being a grateful member of a 12 step program for 25 years. Linda never lost her exuberance for life or her love for the absurd. Linda is survived by her husband, Dan Williamson, son, daughter, stepchildren, 10 grandchildren and loving brother Don Griffin.
