Be Thou At Peace

Luther Henry Cassler Sr. pf 1202 Lindenwood Dr., Panama City, Fla., died Monday afternoon at a Panama City hospital after a lengthy illness.

He was a graduate of West Point in 1949 and received his master's in aeronautical engineering from Cal Tech in 1953. He was an Air Force pilot and retired as a major in 1973, He also worked as an aeronautical engineer fro Bell Aerospce Textron, where he retired in 1987. He was a member of the Retired Officers Association.

He is surviced by his wife, Barbara Reynolds Cassler, Four daughter, three sons, five grandchildren and two brothers.

A memorial service will be held Friday, 10 a.m., at the Wilson Funeral Home Chapel in Panama City, Fla. Cremation will take place.
