| My father, Arnold Winter, class of '49, was close friends with Davis Parrish. Unfortunately, as time goes on contact is lost and becomes less frequent. While the details are limited I do recall meeting Mr. Parrish as a child. It was always explained to my brother and I that my brother, Douglas Davis Winter was named after Davis Parrish. My father always spoke fondly of Davis and his West Point days. My father passed away in January 2014. May they be reunited in the West Point in the sky. |
