Major General Philip R. Feir, 84, of McLean, VA, died of heart complications on July 14, 2011. He is survived by his wife Mary Feir; son, Col. Philip Thomas Feir and his wife Tara Miller Feir, Winchester, MA; two daughters, Rebecca Feir Wellde and her husband Philip Wellde, Vienna, VA & Bobbie Feir Fetherston and her husband Bryan Fetherston, Miami, FL; six grandchildren; sister-in-law, Barbara Simons, Palm Bay, FL; nieces, nephews, friends, and classmates. A funeral service will be held on August 30, 2011 at the Fort Myer Memorial Chapel, Arlington, VA. Interment will follow on August 31, 2011 at the West Point Cemetery, West Point Military Academy, West Point, NY. The Money & King Funeral Home, Vienna, VA, assisted the family with the arrangements.
