Colonel Battle of the Bulge Korea Vietnam
Lawrence Paul Monahan Jr., age 88, at Loudoun Hospital. Born in Boston, he attended Harvard Univ. until called to active duty in the Army in 1943. He served in WW II in 346th Inf. Reg. Called back to the states in 1945 to attend West Point, he graduated in 1949 and later earned a MSE in E.E. from U. of MI and a MS in Bus. from GWU. Served in Korea with 7th Inf. Div. in 1950-51, landing in Inchon, commanded 69th Sig. Batt. in Vietnam.
Visitation at Loudoun Funeral Chapel on May 27. Arlington Cemetery service date to be determine.
