George Donald Summers of Marriottsville, a graduate of West Point Class of 1949 passed away on April 5, 2018. George is the beloved husband of Sachiko Summers, cherished father of Emmy Summers and Susan Francis, dear step father of Mark Solter and his wife Debbie and Diana Solter and her husband John Varnum, loving grandfather of Joseph Wanlund, caring step grandfather of Stephanie De Wit and her husband Mike, Kim Bennett and her wife Laura. Jon Solter and his girlfriend Kayla McNair and Justin Sulak and adored great grandfather of Grace, Lily, Julia, Natalie, Aly, Lachlan, Jayden and Kenzi. All services for Mr. Summers will be private.
