LITTLE FALLS -
Capt. Milan Mosny, 28, son of Mr. and Mrs. John Mosny, Sr., 103 Diamond St, was killed in an aircraft accidentin Japan Thursday, the government notified his parents Saturday.

Capt. Mosny was serving as a Sabre jet pilot with a fighter group in Japan where he had been on duty about a year. He was in Korea for some months previously.

Capt. Mosny was valedictorian of the 1945 class at Little Falls High School and his scholastic ability earned him appointment to West Point where he graduated in 1949. He took up flight training in Texas and as a jet instructor was assigned to many air bases before being sent to Korea.
His last visit home was in September 1953.

Capt. Mosny in his high school and West Point days was an outstanding athlete. He was top scorer of the 1944-45 Little Falls High School basketball team and was captain and top man of the West Point quintet.

He was born in Little Falls, and in addition to his parents, leaves four brothers, John Mosny, Jr., member of the Manlius Academy faculty; Martin, serving with the Navy at Norfolk, Va.; Paul and Daniel, at home; and a sister, Olga, employed in New York City.
