September 30, 2009 It has been many years sice my uncle Howard died. Howard is my Mother's (Eileen Seney's) younger Brother. When I had the opportunity to meet my Uncle Howard I always thought he was a kind compassionate man, a gentleman not only by West Point standards but in his core. During Uncle Howard's life he accomplished many notable successes. He started a General Motors Automobile Distributorship in partnership with Ben Blocker ( \Hoss Cartwright on the TV Series Bonanza) which prospered for many years. His marriage and two children would have been his greatest accomplishment. Uncle Howard was a man to look up to as an example of strength combined with humility. This is an uncommon match but certainly one from God's good graces. I miss my Uncle, and hope my brief Eulogy is a start to others adding their thoughts in respect to this great man. |
