| George Graham was one of the finest people I have every met. His blend of humor, patience, consideration, faith, and patriotism made him a leader in every situation. George always set the example whether it was his volunteer work with Habitat for Humanity after the Homestead, FL hurricane damage or collecting food donations to deliver to a local homeless shelter. George knew how to be "present" in every event of life; he could listen, advise, act, or comfort but he never demanded -- the mark of an officer and a gentleman. I know that my own life is much richer and more tolerant for having had the privilege of George's friendship for many years. |
