USMA 1949 graduate He was married Nancy Lauder, the daughter of Edwin G. Lauder Jr. and Ethel Albee Vigouroux at the Old Post Chapel at Ft. Sill, OK in 1950. They went on assignment to southern Germany where two of their three children were born at the 98th Army Hospital in Munich. After returning to the U.S. the family settled in West Hartford in 1954 where a third child was born and they remained there until 1980 when they moved to Stonington.
