JANUARY 25, 1927 - DECEMBER 15, 2015 William Frederick Trieschmann passed away peacefully at the age of 88 on December 15, 2015. T. Willy was born to Ozell Belser and William Frederick Trieschmann on January 25, 1927 in Lake Providence, Louisiana. T. Willy lived in Lake Providence where he hunted and fished, sold popcorn at the only movie theater and worked in his father's lumber yard. After graduating from Marion Military Institute in Alabama, T. Willy received a commission to go to West Point Military Academy and joined the "Long Grey Line". T. Willy was most proud of his time at West Point and it stayed with him the rest of his life. When T. Willy graduated from West Point as a Second Lieutenant, he joined the Army Air Corps and started training at Randolph Field in San Antonio, Texas. As a young officer he was encouraged to join in many social functions and made many friends and later decided to make San Antonio his home. After basic flight training, T. Willy was commissioned to go fight in the Korean War where he was stationed in Tokyo. T. Willy served as Co-Pilot in a RB-49 Jet where he flew several covert reconnaissance missions over enemy territory. After his service in the military T. Willy moved back to San Antonio and started working in the construction business where he formed a partnership with John T. Saunders, building homes and housing developments, and later building apartments and commercial properties. T. Willy loved hunting and fishing, particularly on the coast in Port Aransas, Texas. He remained an avid private pilot most of his life. In 1977 T. Willy married Margaret Stark who he became totally devoted to for more than 38 years. Peggy and T. Willy traveled all over world, spent many days at their coast house, and thoroughly loved life together. T. Willy was predeceased by his parents and two brothers. T.Willy is survived by his wife, Margaret "Peggy" Trieschmann; daughters, Terry Bacon and her husband, Dan, Linda Hill and her husband, Herb, Margaret Patterson and her husband, Bob, and Susan Saunders; son, John T. Saunders Jr. and his wife, Laurie; fourteen grandchildren; and nine great grandchildren. He is also survived by a brother, King Trieschmann and his wife, Flo of Lake Providence, Louisiana. The family would like to thank the several Caregivers that have looked after Peggy and T. Willy the last four years and particularly Laura Gomez. CELEBRATION OF T.
