Be Thou At Peace

Lt. Col. Leo Kay Huber, USA Ret., 84, a resident of Springfield, Va., passed away April, 19, 2012.

He is survived by his wife, Ruth Ann Huber; daughters, Marian Huber, Karen Grubbs and Diane Hendricks; sons, Kenneth, Daniel and John Huber; and seven grandchildren.

He was predeceased by his parents, Charles Russell Huber (died in 1983) and Thelma Huber (died in 1945).

Kay attended Fairbanks (Alaska) High School where he was a popular athlete and proved himself to be the best all-around boy athlete in the high school.

He graduated in 1945, and was commissioned by the then Territory of Alaska to become a cadet at West Point (Class of 1949). After graduation he decided to make the military his career, and he served until his retirement as a Lt. Colonel.

Graveside services with full honors will be held at a later date at Arlington National Cemetery, Arlington, Va. Donations can be made to the American Cancer Society at cancer.org.
