GERRIT VAN WESTENBRUGGE OBITUARY Van Westenbrugge, Gerrit "Garry" Mr. Gerrit Van Westenbrugge, age 88, died on May 24, 2015. Gerrit, known as Garry was preceded in death by his parents, Gerrit John and Loubertha (Timmers) Van Westenbrugge; sister, Ellen Lancaster; and his son, Martin Van Westenbrugge. Garry is survived by his two daughters, a daughter-in-law, and 5 grandchildren Garry attended Linsley Military Academy and then graduated from West Point Military Academy in 1949. He worked with Travelers Insurance Co. and Merrill Lynch and he had his own Photography business. His funeral service will be held on Sunday, May 31, 2015 at 4 PM at Heritage Life Story Funeral Home - Van Strien Creston Chapel, 1833 Plainfield NE. Interment in Fort Custer National Cemetery. Memorial remembrances may be made to Berean Baptist Church Missionary program, in honor of Grandfather Isaac Van Westenbrugge, charter member of Berean Baptist Church.
