Obituary from The Shreveport (LA) Times 3 Nov 2011:
SHREVEPORT, LA - Bernice (Bea) Anthony Bullock went home to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on October 31, 2011.

Bea was born on July 26, 1927 to Effie and Frank Anthony in Prescott, Arkansas. She graduated from Louisiana Tech with a Bachelor of Arts degree, majoring in organ with a minor in piano. After graduation, she married Thomas Farris Bullock in El Dorado, AR on June 25, 1949. Bea then traveled extensively with Tom as a faithful Air Force wife and mother as they served their country together all over the world. She made a home full of joy, peace and tranquility wherever God led them. Her deep abiding love for her Savior was evident in her gifted gracious hospitality, kindness, generosity, and gentleness, whether in bridge clubs, bible studies, or a seated dinner for thirty on Christmas Eve. Arrival at Bea's door meant love, welcome and acceptance to family, friends, and strangers alike.

Bea was preceded in death by her parents, Effie and Frank Anthony; her brothers Melvin, Beryl, Bruce, Aubra, and her sister, Alma Crawford. She is survived by her husband, Thomas Bullock; their son, Thomas Bullock, Jr., and his wife Claire of Monroe, LA; two daughters; Susan Carter and her husband Jim of Richland, WA, and Kathy Ross and her husband Ron of Charlotte, NC. BeaBea and D'Daddy have six grandchildren whom they adore: Steve Carter of Shreveport, LA, Hannah Carter of Louisville, KY, Sarah Cruze of Huntsville, AL, Ben Bullock of Shreveport, LA, Rebecca Gayle of Houston, TX, and Barron Bullock of Baton Rouge, LA. They have three great-grandchildren who are very special: Grace Carter and Graham Carter of Shreveport, LA, and Bullock Gayle of Houston, TX. Bea is also survived by two brothers, Clary Anthony of Springhill, LA, and Henry Anthony of Lake Village, AR.

A celebration of her life will be held at 11am Thursday, November 3, 2011 at First Presbyterian Church, Shreveport, LA with Reverend Pen Peery, Reverend Bryan McDowell, and Dr. Dana Casey, Chaplain, officiating.

Pallbearers will be her nephews Lee Anthony, Jr., Aubra Anthony, Jr., Russ Anthony, Richard Crawford, Sam Crawford, Melvin Crawford, Mark Anthony, William Anthony, Jr., and Martin Anthony.

The family is ever grateful for the kindness and tenderness exhibited by the Willis-Knighton Hospice care team.
