Obituary for Richard E. Toth
Richard Earl Toth 92 passed away on Tuesday, February 5, 2019.
Richard was born May 19, 1926 in South Bend, IN to parents, Louis and Mary (Penke) Toth both emigrants from Hungary.

Raised and educated with older brother, Louis in South Bend until enlisting in the US Navy under the V-5 and NROTC programs at University of Notre Dame for one year.

Richard received appointment to U.S. Military Academy at West Point in 1945, graduating in 1949 and commissioned in the US Air Force.

After receiving pilot training, he completed several assignments as a pilot and aircraft commander of B-29 and KC 97 aircrafts.

Richard was married to Alliene Edith Zimmerman in June 1953 and together, successfully raised four sons and two daughters.

Richard continued an Air Force career to receive an MBA at the Air Force Technical Institute. The he held several staff positions and five years on the Air Staff at the Pentagon in 1968 retiring as a Lt. Colonel.

He joined Lockhead Martin in Orlando, FL for eleven years in new business and international area.

Last working effort was Vice President for marketing at Simmons Precision, Vergennes, VT.

His last years were spent with his wife at a continuing care facility in Lakeland, FL.

He is preceded in death by his daughter, Linda in 1992.

Richard is survived by his wife of 65 years, Alliene; four sons, Richard Jr., Robert, Randall and Ronald Toth; and one daughter, Cheryl Pollock.

A graveside service will take place at 11:00 am on Saturday, February 16, 2019 at Woodlawn Memorial Park located at 400 Woodlawn Cemetery Rd, Gotha, FL 34734
