Be Thou At Peace

Posted by Sue Jackson on November 24, 2015:

I knew Curtis had died but just found this site. Curtis and his wife and I corresponded over the years. I never had the privilege of meeting them face to face even though my husband and I with our young son traveled to West Point where my husband had worked on the commissary there as an architect. We stayed at the Thayer Hotel but I did not know Curtis at that time. We were kin on my Anders line which I have researched a long time. Before he died he sent me a copy of his latest book he was working on where he discussed our family. I was so saddened to learn of his death as I had planned to return and meet him in person. I miss talking to him and his wife. I would love to hear from anyone who knew him. Regards Sue Jackson at mommasaid@gmail.com
