USMA Class of 1949 - West Point Resident of Northbrook, IL since 1971, passed away August 25, 2010. Beloved Husband of Bruna, loving father of Loren, Thomas, Patricia, Christopher, and Andrew. Grandfather of Thomas, Colleen, Christopher, Matthew, Elizabeth, Patrick, Emily and Peter. He was a 1949 graduate of United States Military Academy at West Point and served in the US Army for over 25 years serving during the Korean Conflict and Vietnam. He received numerous commendations and medals of merit including the Bronze Star Medal and the Vietnam Cross of Gallantry with Silver Star. Funeral Mass at St. Norbert Church and internment at Sacred Heart Cemetery both in Northbrook. Chicago Tribune August 27, 2010 |
