Be Thou At Peace

Charles Nixon Bunn

Age 80, died peacefully in San Jose on Sept. 30 with his wife, Marjorie, and daughter, Sisene, by his side.

Charlie was born in Springfield, Illinois on February 8, 1926. He entered the U.S. Army in 1944 and became a Paratrooper.

Charlie graduated from West Point and received his MBA from Xavier University.
He was with the Eighth Army Rangers in Korea in 1950.

He worked for General Electric, Lockheed, and the U.S. Postal Service as an engineer, economist, and strategic planner.

Charlie is survived by his wife, Marjorie, his former wife, Cecine Stadden, his daughter, Sisene, his son, Charles Jr., his grandchildren, Aisha, Ethan, Ian, Alanya, Devin, Cecine, Shae, Bryson and his beloved dog, Maui.
He is also survived by his brother, Joseph, and numerous nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Life for Charlie will be held at the Cribari Auditorium in the Villages on October 21, at 2 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to American Stroke Association, 1710 Gilbreth Rd., Burlingame, CA 94010 or Villages Medical Auxiliary, 5000 Cribari Lane, San Jose, CA 95135.
